Group deletion between Microsoft and CoreView

When a non-on-premises group is deleted from the Teams Admin Center, it can take up to 2 days for the group to be deleted from CoreView. This timing depends on two synchronization processes between the tenant and CoreView:

• Partial import: typically, group deletions are picked up by the partial import, a process that runs every few minutes. In most cases, this process will promptly remove the group from CoreView.
• Full group import: if the deletion is not captured by the partial import, a full group import runs every two days, ensuring the most accurate list of groups is synchronized.

There is no need for concern if the group is not removed right away. Only after 3 days from deletion in the Teams Admin Center should you report any issues, as the removal is likely to be processed during one of the synchronization cycles.
