Easily access Sync logs right from the Sync page!

Simeon Cloud makes automating your M365 configurations as easy as possible. Not only do we make deploying dozens of configuration changes simple, but we also provide users with transparency into every action performed. When auditing a Sync, or when a Sync doesn’t go as planned, you may need to review the Sync logs or quickly gather information to send to Simeon support. We are pleased to announce that this process can now easily be done right from the Sync page! To download Sync logs for a Sync with an error, navigate to Sync >select the Error button > Download logs. This will download the Sync logs, Sync artifacts, and the Sync Summary reports all in one convenient package.

In addition to Sync errors, you can access the logs for Syncs that complete successfully as well. To do this, navigate to Sync > expand the tenant where you’d like to download logs > find the Sync that you are interested in > click the three dots on the right > Download logs.

Announcing the next version of Simeon Cloud!

Simeon is pleased to announce that the rollout of the next major version of our Simeon Cloud software has begun! We have been working tirelessly to update our codebase to provide across-the-board efficiency gains, improve Sync performance, and introduce new features. As we begin to roll this update out to all customers, a few things to be aware of:

  • We will be rolling this update out to customers in two phases. The first phase will update all clients to our new codebase by the end of May 2024. This initial update will provide parity with the current version of Simeon for supported configurations and features. Please keep an eye out for additional communications regarding when you can expect to receive this update.
  • Once all users are updated to the new codebase, we will begin to introduce new features and support for additional providers. This includes Defender for Endpoint configurations followed by Azure Infrastructure configurations later this year.
  • If you are interested in early access to this release and would like to help us by testing the new version of Simeon, please let us know by emailing support@simeoncloud.com.

Product updates

  • Support for Microsoft Briefing Email is being deprecated. Microsoft recently announced that the briefing email service will be placed on pause while improvements are made. In the coming weeks, support for this configuration will be removed from Simeon and Syncs will no longer export this configuration from tenants. Existing configuration backups will not be removed, but new tenants will no longer export this configuration.
