Before diving into how to use the Governance Center, it is essential to understand what a policy threshold is and how to configure it.
- A policy threshold is a number of matched items that can be set to determine whether a policy is compliant or non-compliant.
- By default, the value set for Out-of-the-box policies is zero.
When the default threshold is configured, remember that if the number of matched items is greater than zero, it means that the policy is non-compliant with the threshold itself.
- A threshold is always required for Out-of-the-box policies. Instead, it is optional for custom policies.
- You can set the threshold from the "Edit policy settings" panel of an Out-of-the-box policy.
