Support access

  • Last update on September 27th, 2024

We've upgraded tenant security with our new “Support access” feature. This gives you complete control over CoreView operators' access to your tenant. You can generate temporary credentials for your Account Manager for smooth implementation, or for the Support Team to assist you.

As a Tenant Admin, you can customize access by choosing specific roles, V-Tenants (if available), or permissions. Operators with delegated authority can grant access within the scope of their own rights.

How to implement Support Access

  1. Navigate to “Settings > Organization settings” and select the “Support access” tab.
  1. You'll find the “Support access” toggle, which is off by default. Switching it on allows you to start setting up CoreView support access. You can decide which operators have access and customize their permissions by choosing roles, virtual tenants, and the duration of their access to ensure you maintain complete control.
  1. Click the “Grant access to operator” button to get started. This option becomes available once the “Support access” toggle is on.
  1. A setup panel will open. Here, you can select a CoreView operator from the dropdown menu. Next, set an expiration date for their access.
  2. In the “Role and permissions” section, you can assign them a specific role, a virtual tenant, and a set of permissions. Remember, delegated admins cannot assign roles and permissions beyond their level.
  3. Click “Grant access” to apply the changes.
  1. The CoreView operator will now be listed in the table below, where you can review all the details you've configured. Their access status will be marked as active.
  2. This table also allows you to see access permissions granted to other CoreView support members by different admins and who authorized their access.
  3. In the “Actions” column, you have the option to extend or revoke access for CoreView operators who currently have active access.
  1. To revoke access for all operators simultaneously, simply turn off the “Support access” toggle.
