July 16 enhancements

IN THE SPOTLIGHT

[RECONCILE] Link configurations across tenants: you can now link configurations from different tenants, even if they have different names. Once linked, these configurations are treated as equivalent by the application, allowing them to appear in the “Conflicting” or “Matching columns on the Reconcile dashboard.
This enhancement was inspired by a CoreVoice idea
[RECONCILE] Default tenant comparison: you can now designate a default comparison tenant for your downstream tenant by marking it with a star. When you access Reconcile and select that tenant, the application will automatically use your chosen default tenant for comparison.

[OPERATORS] Introducing operator roles for Configuration Manager: two new operator roles are now available for Configuration Manager: Configuration Admin and Configuration Viewer. Configuration Admin grants full permissions for all configuration tasks, while Configuration Viewer offers read-only access. These roles are located under Settings > Operators in the CoreView app.

This feature is exclusively available for Configuration Manager SaaS.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

[UX] Redesigned configuration type filter: the filter in Configuration Manager now features a pop-up window that allows users to filter configuration types by typing a workload or selecting filter chips. This update offers more precise control and simplifies the filtering process.
