Remove a tenant

  • Last update on September 26th, 2024

Remove is the process of uninstalling a tenant from Configuration Manager.

Remove button: select to start the removing process of an existing tenant.

This action deletes the tenant's resources in Azure DevOps, including the Sync pipeline and the tenant's repository. The repository data is permanently deleted, which means the tenant's backups are also removed and cannot be recovered.

Remove downstream tenant dialog box.

Before you can remove a baseline, you must either remove the client/downstream tenants or edit any client/downstream tenants to associate them with a different baseline.

Warning informing you that a baseline tenant cannot be removed because it is associated with downstream tenants.

After this process, the tenant will no longer be visible in the Configuration Manager app or in Azure DevOps.
