Problem

You are experiencing significant delays in the import operations of Exchange data. This means you may notice that reports and dashboards under categories “Exchange” and “Mail Traffic” are not showing the latest data. This includes the followings:

  • Exchange dashboard
  • Email addresses
  • Exchange inactive mailboxes
  • Exchange email activity
  • Exchange email app usage
  • Exchange mailbox usage
  • Mail traffic
  • Mail traffic by user

Explanation

Microsoft has a throttling limit on the Exchange Service, allowing only 100 requests to be executed in parallel per application. This constraint has resulted in significant delays in import operations for CoreView, as it currently uses the default application provided by the PowerShell module.

To address this issue and expedite data updates on our portal, we need to process more requests in parallel using multiple applications called “CoreView Exchange Integration” enterprise applications. This requires your consent.

Solution

Provide consent for each of the five “CoreView Exchange Integration” apps.
For instructions on granting consents, refer to the article “Consent management – Section 'Grant extra-consent'” in our documentation. Repeat the consent process for each of the five apps.

The necessary permissions that you must grant to the CoreView app on the Microsoft side for the “CoreView Exchange Integration” apps are listed in the article “List of CoreView Enterprise applications” in our documentation.
