Entra Apps solution

The Entra Apps Starter Plan provides essential governance, reporting, and action features focused on managing Entra Apps. This article is designed to help you identify the available tools and their locations within the CoreView app.

Interface and navigation

The side panel menu grants you access to the following items:

  • Governance Center
  • Favorite reports (if available)
  • Entra Apps reports
  • Entra Apps Management Actions
  • Settings

Favorite reports

This section displays all reports you've starred for easy access. It becomes visible in the menu once you mark at least one report as a favorite.

Entra Apps reports

Here, you'll find pre-built Entra Apps reports that combine data from the “Enterprise Applications” and “App Registrations” sections of the Microsoft Admin Center into a simple, customizable format. This streamlines app management by eliminating cross-referencing across different reports. Each report can be duplicated, saved, or added to your favorites.

Governance Center

The Governance Center is a set of widget-based dashboards that offer a comprehensive snapshot of the health and safety of your Microsoft 365 environment. Serving as a single pane of glass, it provides a consolidated view across all Playbooks and policies. 

The Entra App Playbook is fully accessible, enabling you to view and manage policy violations. For other playbooks, you can only see the number of violations. Consider upgrading to access detailed violation information and leverage more powerful features for remediation.

Organization settings

In this section, you can manage or view details about your organization. For more information about the different tabs available in this section, please follow the links below:

Playbooks

This section provides access to your “Playbook Policy Library”, where each policy is displayed within a “Policy Box”. You can perform various actions on Entra Apps Playbook policies, such as accessing full reports, enabling policies and remediations, and editing policies.

Please note that with the Entra Apps package, you are limited to enabling and executing the remediation of predefined Entra app policies. Consider upgrading to gain these capabilities for other playbooks' apps and to unlock additional features, such as creating custom policies or cloning existing ones.

 

Operators

This section allows you to create, delete, and manage your operators. For more details, please visit the “Organize and manage operators” section. 

Please note that in the Entra Apps solution, all operators have a Tenant Admin role. As such, no roles will be displayed on this page.

 

Audit log

Here, you'll find a list of all activities performed in CoreView. This enables you to track and monitor actions performed by every operator. For additional information, please refer to the “CoreView audit report” article.
