From this page, you can choose to create a Management Service Account and authorize the Graph Management app, two steps that are crucial for using all of CoreView's functionalities.
Create Management Service Account
The creation of a Management Service Account allows you to delegate management action execution to other operators without providing them with the credentials for the Admin Center.
It's a key component of CoreView's management session functionality, which enables the execution of:
- management actions,
- custom actions,
- and workflows.
CoreView's “Management” tool establishes a PowerShell channel to your Microsoft 365 portal, allowing the execution of actions. Most actions require that the “Management” is turned on for execution, although some actions use the API Graph instead.
If you don't want to create it now, you can always create the Management Service Account later. However, remember that some CoreView features may not work properly without it.
Create Graph Management app
Through this app you authorize the use of the Microsoft Graph module, necessary for utilizing:
- custom actions,
- management actions,
- and remediation of certain policies
that use the Graph PowerShell module or Graph API endpoints.
If you don't want to authorize it now, you can always authorize the Graph Management app later. However, remember that some CoreView features may not work properly without it.
Checkpoint
A checkpoint appears. Here, you'll find a summary of the service accounts and management service accounts that have been created. There's also a reminder to make sure that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or conditional access policies are disabled, along with a link to the instructions.
