Operator time zone

Ensuring that operators have the correct time zone configured is essential for seamless functionality and accurate scheduling within the CoreView app. This section provides comprehensive guidance on how operators can set and verify their time zone settings to ensure precise interactions with scheduled tasks and reports. Following this article, you will also find a detailed guide on selecting the most appropriate time zone for your profile.

Time zone configuration steps

  1. Operators can select their time zone by navigating to “My profile” > “Personal info”.
  1. To set up your time zone, go to the “Time zone” field and click the “X” icon next to the default selection “No time zone (UTC +0)”. 
  1. At this point, you can choose your preferred time zone from the dropdown menu. For a detailed guide on selecting your time zone, please refer to the article "Selecting your time zone”.
  1. Remember to click “Save” to confirm the changes. 

Where will the operator’s time zone be displayed?

You can always verify your selected time zone by clicking on your name in the top bar. The time zone will be shown at the bottom of the panel that appears. 

How to verify the selected operator time zone.

Additionally, the operator's UTC time zone will be visible in the following sections of the CoreView app:

  • Scheduled reports
  • Scheduled policy remediations
  • Scheduled workflows
  • Teams management actions, such as “Holiday”, “Auto Attendant”, and “Auto Reply” actions.

Where will UTC+0 be displayed?

In the following sections of the CoreView app, UTC + 0 will be the default setting:

  • Charts with daily marks
  • Audit 
  • Task progress
  • Review section within wizards
  • Workflow actions (currently not available)
  • Exported reports (including the Governance Center exports)
Audit logs are always reported in UTC+0

In each section containing dates, a badge will indicate whether the dates are displayed in UTC 0 or the local operator's time zone.
